For someone that is used to the modern era of gaming and wasn't old enough to really expirence these games (I was 6 when it came out), this game is at least able to control well enough to play.I am not sure if I will continue to play yet as the story hasn't grabed me but its at least an option. Hexen 1 is a no go for me.. Great if you love old school games. Truly tough game that mixes FPS with RPG elements and fantasy setting.Graphics are outdated but gameplay is very smooth. You will probably need a walkthrough for some of the puzzles that are confusing and have little clues.Overall I really enjoyed it. My review is probably biased by nostalgia, but I still have the original CD plus the Preavus expansion. I played this game countless hours back when it was new and now I play it again.It is a classic FPS with slight role-playing elements and rather obscure puzzles. Plus you get 4 classes to choose from, each with its own weapons. This game has an adorable art style, and the concept is fun in theory. In execution, I found the gameplay overly simplistic while also being extremely hand-holdy (which is a frustrating combo). Maybe if I played more than a few minutes it would really open up, but I was so bored by the starting level; that I really didn't feel like going further.. Pretty much exactly the same as the first game with a new story. Worth playing if you liked the first one.. miniclip games being made into real games was a mistake. First there was "On the Rainslick Precipice of Darkness". Then there was another one of it. More of the same, but that's no bad thing.. An interesting game. Each playthrough is different. It frustrated the hell out of me at times, yet I still enjoyed playing it. The soundtrack is lovely.. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF♥♥♥♥♥♥GAME.The AI are nothing like really life players, completely random and unpredictable, it's impossible to play with any kind of strategy, don't waste your money!
